About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Merrdawg, an independent Apex Legends creator and coach based in Pennsylvania, USA (“I”, “me”). They cover this website and the coaching sessions booked through it. If you don’t agree, please don’t book a session.

Who can book

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must read and agree to these terms, including session recording, and make the booking and payment.
• The information you give when booking must be accurate.

Coaching sessions

I offer two sessions:

• Live gameplay or VOD review: 60 minutes
• VOD review + skill breakdown: 30 minutes

Sessions happen in a private voice call in my Discord server, The Dawg House. Current prices and what each session includes are listed on the Coaching page.

Booking and approval

Every booking is a request until I approve it. You pay when you book. If I can’t take your request, I’ll decline it and you’ll get a full refund. Once approved, you’ll get a confirmation email with a calendar invite.

Payments

Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe through the booking calendar (Cal.com). I never see or store your full card details.

Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds

• Cancel at least 1 day before your session for a full refund. Use the cancel link in your confirmation email.
• To reschedule, use the reschedule link in your confirmation email.
• Cancellations less than 1 day before the session, and missed sessions, aren’t refunded.
• If I need to cancel, you’ll get a full refund or a new time, whichever you prefer.
• If a problem on my end cuts a session short, I’ll make it right with extra time or a partial refund.

Being on time

Sessions start and end at the scheduled time. If you’re late, the session still ends on time. Please be in the Coaching Call voice channel, with your mic working, a few minutes early.

What to expect from coaching

Coaching is education and feedback based on my experience. Improvement depends on how you practice and apply it, so I can’t guarantee a specific rank, result, or outcome.

Respect and conduct

Be respectful. I may end a session without a refund for harassment, hate speech, cheating, or abusive behavior. I’ll never ask for your game account login, and you should never share it. I don’t offer account boosting or any service that breaks Electronic Arts’ rules.

Session recording and your consent

Every coaching session is recorded. Recordings include the voice call and anything shared or said during it, such as your voice, gameplay, screen share, gamer tag, and Discord username.

By booking a session and joining the call, you agree to be recorded. If you’re under 18, the parent or guardian who books the session gives this consent for you. Please make sure no one else joins or speaks on the call unless they also agree to be recorded. If you don’t want to be recorded, please don’t book a session.

How I can use recordings and your gameplay

By booking a session, you give me a permanent, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use, copy, edit, and publish the session recording and any VODs, clips, or gameplay you share with me, in whole or in part. This includes:

• Posting them on my social media and channels, such as YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, X, and Discord
• Using them in coaching, educational, and highlight content
• Using them to promote my channels and coaching

This content may include your gameplay, voice, gamer tag, and Discord username, and you agree I can use them in this way. You won’t be paid for this use, and I don’t need to ask before each post. I won’t intentionally publish your email address, payment details, or other private contact information.

You keep ownership of your own gameplay recordings. You’re welcome to record a session for your own review, but please don’t publish my coaching without my permission.

Website content

The videos, text, and branding on this site belong to Merrdawg. You’re welcome to share links, but please don’t copy or reuse content without permission. Apex Legends is a trademark of Electronic Arts. This site and my coaching aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by Electronic Arts or Respawn Entertainment.

Third-party services

Bookings, payments, and calls use Cal.com, Stripe, and Discord. Your use of those services is also covered by their own terms.

Limits of liability

This site and my coaching are provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and my total liability for any claim related to a session is limited to the amount you paid for that session. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law doesn’t allow to be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. The version in effect when you book applies to that booking, and the date at the top shows the latest update.
